Fire Risk Assessment
The regulatory reform (fire safety) order places a duty on the ‘responsible person’ to carry out a fire risk assessment of their premises (e.g. owner or the occupier). At NFS Fire Protection [Manchester], we can complete a fire risk assessment for you and provide you with an easy to understand document which includes the necessary measures for you to comply with fire regulations.

Fire Extinguisher Maintenance
At NFS Fire Protection, we have over 40 years’ experience in fire extinguisher maintenance and ensure they are serviced in correspondence to current British standards (BS5306).
Fire Alarm Maintenance
We offer the services of alarm system and emergency lighting, testing and servicing in accordance with current British standards (BS5389 part 1 :2017 – fire alarm systems).
Emergency Lighting
We offer the services of emergency lighting testing, it is necessary to safeguard people and ensure emergency routes and exits that require artificial illumination, have adequate emergency lighting, to operate to correct intensity in case normal lighting fails (BS5266-1:2016).
Fire Training
The regulatory reform order (fire safety 2005) and associated health & safety legislation plane an obligation on employers to ensure that their staff receive adequate fire safety training, from the moment they are first employed, to factors that may increase or change risks in the workplace. The level of fire training and frequency of staff training is determined by the, uses or any risks arising.
NFS Fire Protection can advise you on the best suited training course for your employees. Which include;

• Fire marshal & fire warden training.

Training sessions can vary in timescales, depending on class sizes.

Recharging/Filling Plant

We fill all Fire Extinguishers. We also fill N2 Cylinders, Co2 Cylinders & Co2 Fire Extinguishers while you wait. (Please contact us prior to arrival for refill charges and availability).
